Marks – SC / ST / PwD (PwBD) Minimum 55% aggregate marks in both Class 10 and Class 12.
Age Limit No upper age limit for JIPMAT 2026. However, passing year criteria (Class 10 in 2022+ and Class 12 in 2024/2025/2026) effectively limit applicants to young recent pass-outs.
Stream / Subject Any stream — Arts, Commerce, or Science. No specific subject requirement at 10+2 level.
Percentage Calculation Based on the Board's regulations. If no specific Board rule exists, aggregate of ALL subjects in the marksheet is considered for percentage calculation.
Nationality Indian nationals. Foreign nationals/International students are also eligible (different application fee applies).
Any Stream Students Eligible: Commerce, Arts, and Science students — all can apply for JIPMAT 2026. There is no specific subject requirement. Focus is on Class 10 and Class 12 aggregate percentage.
⚠️
Institute-Specific Rules: The NTA sets the general eligibility for the exam. However, IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya may have additional/different eligibility rules for final IPM admission. Always check both iimjammu.ac.in and iimbg.ac.in individually before applying.
📌
Appearing Candidates: Students currently appearing in Class 12 (2026 batch) can apply. They must pass Class 12 by 31 July 2026 with required marks for the admission to be confirmed. NTA accepts applications from appearing candidates, but final admission depends on Class 12 results.
