Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP) — established in 1966 by the Packaging & Allied Industries and the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India — is the national apex body for packaging education, training, testing, and certification. It is recognized as a Centre of Excellence in packaging. IIP has officially opened admissions for its flagship Post Graduate Diploma in Packaging (PGDP) – 42nd Batch (2026-28) along with M.S. Packaging Technology, B.Sc. Packaging Technology, and CPE programmes. The IIPCET 2026 entrance exam will be held on 27 June 2026 at 11:00 AM in offline mode, followed by a Personal Interview on the same day.

📌 Note on Eligibility: Candidates with a B.Sc. must have Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as main subjects, or one of these as the second subject in their three-year degree. The PGDP is suitable for both fresh graduates and those with work experience. Candidates applying for M.S. Packaging Technology must be B.E./B.Tech. graduates or have a 4-year integrated Science degree.
