Eligibility Criteria — IIMK BMS 2026 (Official)

Academic Qualification — Who Can Apply

Candidates must have successfully completed the Class XII examination OR hold a diploma post ten years of schooling, from any stream, recognized by the relevant boards of the Government of India.

This means:

Class XII (Science / Commerce / Arts / Humanities — any stream) — passed or appearing
Diploma (post Class X, i.e., 10+2 equivalent diploma) from a recognized board

Selection Process — IIMK BMS 2026 (4 Stages)

IIMK BMS Aptitude Test (IIMK BMS AT) — May 19, 2026

All applicants must appear for the IIMK BMS Aptitude Test (IIMK BMS AT) 2026. The test comprises two sections:

Section 1 — Verbal Ability: Assesses reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, and language proficiency
Section 2 — Quantitative Ability: Assesses numerical reasoning, arithmetic, algebra, data interpretation

Format: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT). Conducted at designated test centres. Admit card download date: to be announced by IIMK. A previous year question paper (BMS AT 01, June 22, 2025, Shift 2) is available at iimk.ac.in for preparation.

Shortlisting for Personal Interview — Aggregate Index Score (AIS)

From eligible candidates, a shortlist is prepared in each reservation category based on the Aggregate Index Score (AIS). The AIS is computed based on:

Score in IIMK BMS AT (aptitude test performance)
Academic performance in Class XII / Diploma or equivalent
Marks obtained in Class X

A standardized composite of these three components determines the AIS. Only top-ranked candidates (category-wise) are shortlisted for the Personal Interview stage.

Personal Interview (PI) — First Week of June 2026 — 7 Cities

Shortlisted candidates must appear for a Personal Interview (PI) conducted by IIM Kozhikode. PI details:
