Institute of Fashion Technology Kerala (IFTK) — established by the Government of Kerala in technical collaboration with the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India — has invited online applications for admission to the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) – Fashion Design programme for the academic year 2026. IFTK is an AICTE-approved institution affiliated to the University of Kerala, located at Vellimon West P.O., Kundara, Kollam. Entrance Exam Must appear and qualify in the Aptitude Test conducted by LBS Centre for Science and Technology for IFTK. Admission is subject to passing this test.

Application Only ONE application per candidate is allowed. Submitting more than one application will lead to disqualification.

The IFTK Entrance Exam (Aptitude Test) consists of two parts followed by a Personal Interview for shortlisted candidates:

Register with Basic Details
Enter basic details: Name (as in official documents), Email ID, Mobile Number, Gender. All future communication will be sent to this registered email and mobile number only. Note down your login credentials securely — they cannot be recovered easily once forgotten.

Pay Application Fee – ₹1,500/-
Pay the non-refundable application fee of ₹1,500/- through SBI Collect via the link on iftk.ac.in. Download the Transaction Receipt as a PDF file (less than 1 MB) — you will need to upload it in the application form. Save this receipt safely.

Download Admit Card & Appear for Exam
Download your Hall Ticket / Admit Card approximately 10 days before the entrance exam from iftk.ac.in using your login credentials. Reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the exam time. Carry a physical copy of the admit card with photo affixed.

🪑 Reservation of Seats
Reservation Policy: Reservation of seats is as per the Government of Kerala's existing reservation norms for professional course admissions. This includes reservations for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and other categories as per Kerala Govt. orders. Community reservation is applicable only for Keralite candidates. Non-Keralites are eligible for State Merit seats only.

📋 Eligibility Criteria

📝 About IPMAT 2026: The Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) is conducted by IIM Indore annually. Candidates must register separately at iimindore.ac.in for IPMAT 2026. The test typically includes Quantitative Ability (MCQ & SA) and Verbal Ability (MCQ) sections. Only IPMAT 2026 score will be accepted — no alternative exam (SAT, JEE, etc.) is accepted.
🔄 Admission Process – 3 Stages
Stage 1
Online Application & Document Submission
Candidates apply online through IIM Sambalpur's official admission portal. All valid and relevant documents must be uploaded at the time of application. Application fee must be paid online (non-refundable).
Stage 2
Shortlisting & Personal Interview (PI)
Candidates are shortlisted for the PI round based on their IPMAT 2026 score. Shortlisted candidates are invited for a Personal Interview. The Interview Panel assesses candidates on various parameters and assigns a score.
Stage 3
Merit List & Admission Offer
The final merit list is prepared based on IPMAT 2026 score (by IIM Indore) + Personal Interview score. Selected candidates receive a provisional admission offer via email and must pay the Offer Acceptance Fee of ₹1,00,000 (adjusted against Semester 1 fee) to confirm admission.

Register & Fill Application Form — enter personal details, academic marks (Class X & XII), IPMAT 2026 score, and reservation category accurately.

Upload Documents — IPMAT scorecard, Class X & XII marksheets, category certificate (if applicable), photo ID, photograph and signature in prescribed format.

Pay Application Fee online — General: ₹2,000 | SC/ST/PwD/OBC-NCL/EWS: ₹1,000 (+ taxes). Fee is non-refundable. Submit the form before the June 2026 deadline.
