Must have passed Class XII / HSC or equivalent in 2024 or 2025, OR appearing in 2026. Candidates likely to complete XII by July 31, 2026 can also apply — provisional admission if selected; originals required at registration.

Must have passed Class X / SSC or equivalent from a recognized board. No minimum percentage specified for Class X or XII — IIM Indore uses holistic selection criteria.

Any stream (Science, Commerce, Arts / Humanities) in Class XII is eligible. No specific subject requirement.

Percentage Calculation Rule

Percentage in Class X and XII is calculated based on aggregate marks of ALL subjects appearing in the mark sheet — irrespective of the Board's own regulation. Grade points/letters will be converted as per procedure certified by the Board.

Aptitude Test (IPMAT) — May 4, 2026

All eligible applicants are called for the CBT across 39 cities. Appear in all three sections within the 2-hour window with sectional time limits. Any candidate who fails to appear in AT is not considered for selection.

Aptitude Test Score (ATS) Computation & Eligible Pool

Only candidates with positive raw scores AND minimum marks in each section (cut-off decided by Admissions Committee, category-wise) form the eligible pool for PI shortlisting.

• ATS formula uses normalized scores across sections: QA-MCQ (weight 25) + QA-SA (weight 25) + VA-MCQ (weight 50)
• Normalization: Each component = Weight × (Raw Score − Min) ÷ (Max − Min) among eligible pool

Personal Interview (PI)

Sufficient candidates from eligible pool shortlisted category-wise for PI based on ATS ranking. PI conducted online or offline (mode intimated by IIM Indore). Stream — Any Stream from Class XII Is Eligible

Students from any stream of Class XII — Science, Commerce, Arts, or Humanities — are fully eligible to apply for IPM AT 2026 and for admission to IIM Rohtak IPM. There is absolutely no restriction on the stream of Class XII.

Appearing Candidates (Class XII 2026) — Eligible to Apply

Candidates likely to complete Standard XII / HSC or equivalent by end of June 2026 can apply for IPM AT 2026. Such candidates may receive only a provisional admission offer. At the time of programme registration (August 2026), they must produce original Class X and Class XII mark sheets (minimum marks as per category) along with school leaving certificate / migration certificate — failing which the offer stands cancelled.

Expected IPM AT 2026 cutoff (General): ~375+ marks (out of 480) based on 2025 trends. In 2025, the exam was easy-to-moderate; high attempt rates and accuracy pushed cutoffs up. For SC/ST/DAP categories, cutoffs are lower as per GoI reservation norms.

Stage II — IPM Aptitude Test (IPM AT 2026) — May 10, 2026

All registered candidates appear for IPM AT 2026 on May 10, 2026 (Tentative), 9:00 AM. Conducted by TCS at test centres across India. 120 MCQs: QA (40) + LR (40) + VA (40). 2 hours, no sectional time limit. Marking: +4 / −1 / 0. Download admit card ~3rd week of April 2026. Carry printed admit card + valid photo ID. Report to exam centre at least 90 minutes before exam time.

III

Stage III — Shortlisting & Online Personal Interview (PI) — June 2026

Shortlisting based on minimum eligibility criteria AND IPM AT 2026 score. PI call letter: by end of May 2026 (Tentative) from ipmadmission@iimrohtak.ac.in. PI dates: 1st or 2nd week of June 2026 (Tentative), Online. Candidates evaluated on:

• Academics: academic record, consistency, subject knowledge
• General Awareness: current affairs, national issues, social topics
