BACHELOR OF DESIGN(B.Des), KERALA 2024-25

During the current academic year 2024-25, allotment for admission to B.Des Course will be made in the Single Window System of Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) to the institutes having AICTE approval, NOC of Government and University affiliation for the academic year 2024-25. Allotment will also be made to new institutions/ additional seats sanctioned before the Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) and fulfilling the above requirements. The institutions covered under the B.Des course admission through Centralized Allotment Process 2024-25 are mentioned in Annexure 1.

കേരളത്തിലെ ഗവ./സ്വാശ്രയ കോളേജുകളിലെ ബാച്‌ലർ ഓഫ് ഡിസൈൻ 4 വർഷ  കോഴ്സുകളിലേക്ക് അഡ്മിഷൻ നേടുന്നതിനുള്ള കേരള സ്റ്റേറ്റ് ഡിസൈൻ ആപ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂഡ് ടെസ്റ്റ് 2024 അപേക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടതാണ് . LBS Centre വഴിയാണ് അപേക്ഷ സമർപ്പിക്കേണ്ടത് . 
Academic Eligibility
  • The candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) conducted by the Board of HSE Kerala or examination equivalent.
  •  Selection Process
  • Selection to Government Seat 
  • The student should qualify the entrance examination (KS-DAT) conducted by LBS Centre for getting admission to the Government seat
  • Selection to Management Seat
  • Admission to management seats can be done directly by the management. For admission to management seats, the candidates must have qualified any one of the national level entrance examinations like NATA- (National Aptitude Test in Architecture- currently open to students in science stream), UCEED- (Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam in Design-open to students in science stream), NID DAT (National Institute of Design, Design Aptitude Test- open to students from all streams), NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Examination) or the entrance examination(KS-DAT) conducted by LBS Centre and other academic eligibility prescribed by the affiliating university. 
  • No claims whatsoever regarding reservations or fee concessions will be considered after the closing date of application. Certificates in the e-district format can also be used.
HOW TO APPLY
  • Application Fee for General and SEBC candidates is Rs.1200/
  • SC/ST candidates -s Rs.600/-
  • The pattern of examination is as follows:
    • Social and Basic sciences (10th level)
    • General knowledge
    • English Language
    • Numerical ability and Analytical Aptitude
    • Design Awareness
    • Number of Questions-100
    • Mode of questions-Objective type multiple choice.
