    • It is a five-year degree program for bright and motivated science students who have passed class 10+2 or equivalent. Most IISERs offer BS-MS (Dual Degree) in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics. Earth and Environmental Sciences is available at select IISERs.     • The BS-MS program integrates classroom learning with research and provides ample scope for multidisciplinary interactions. The program consists of core courses in basic sciences and specialization in chosen subjects along with an MS research project. The training during this program enables students to pursue careers in academia, R&D institutes, and industries.
    • Additionally, IISER Bhopal offers four year BS programmes in Economics and Engineering Sciences. Mathematics at 10+2 level is mandatory for candidates seeking admission to both these BS programmes

    Eligibility

    • Overall Eligibility criteria

      • Applicants must be Indian nationals, PIO or OCI to apply for IAT 2024.

      • The candidates must have passed the Class XII or equivalent level examination in 2022 or 2023 or 2024 from any board recognized by the Council of Boards of School Education in India COBSE.

      • Candidates must have taken at least three subjects among Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics during their Class XII (or equivalent) examination.

      • Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD require to score a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in their Class XII (or equivalent) examination. Candidates belonging to other categories require to score a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in their Class XII (or equivalent) examination.

      NOTE: The students from the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE), from Kashmir division/Winter Zone areas of Jammu division and the U.T. of Ladakh, who appeared in their Class XII or equivalent level examination in Dec 2021, are also eligible to apply for the IAT 2024, provided they satisfy all the other eligibility criteria.

    • During the application process, these students must pick 2022 as their year of passing the class 12 examination.

      • Admission to IISERs

      Admission to IISERs is exclusively through the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT), which is a computer-based test scheduled on Sunday, June 09, 2024 at 9:00 AM, at various centres across the country.

      Performance Criteria in Class XII/equivalent examination

      • Candidates whose Class XII (or equivalent) examination results have not yet been declared, can apply for IAT 2024. However, their admission will be subject to fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria given above.
      • For candidates who had appeared in the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in 2023 and reappeared in any subject (for whatever reason) in 2024, the better of two performances will be considered.
      • If a board gives aggregate marks considering both Class XI and Class XII, then only Class XII (or equivalent) examination marks will be considered. If a board gives aggregate marks considering the results of all three years of a 3-year diploma or courses of equivalent duration, then only the marks scored in the final year will be considered. Similarly, the marks scored in the final two semesters will be considered for boards that follow a semester system.

      • If a board awards only letter grades without providing an equivalent percentage of marks on the grade-sheet, the candidate should obtain a certificate from the board specifying the equivalent marks and submit it before the deadline of the mark-sheet submission. In case the board does not provide such a certificate, the percentage marks will be assessed as follows:

                percentage marks = (CGPA or CPI obtained × 100) / PS,

      where PS is the maximum value of the point scale used by the respective board.

    • Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF)

      The Seat Acceptance Fee is to be paid only after an offer of admission has been made to the candidate. The SAF will have to be paid as per the category entered by the candidate in the application.

      • Rs. 35,000/- (Rs. 25,000/- + Rs. 10,000/- (Non refundable administrative fee)) for General/EWS/OBC/OBC-NCL/PwD/KM categories.
      • Rs. 17,500/- (Rs. 12,500/- + Rs. 5000/- (Non refundable administrative fee)) for SC/ST categories.
      • Failure to deposit the SAF within the stipulated time will result in the cancellation of the offer. Furthermore, you will not be considered in any subsequent rounds of seat allotment during admission 2024.
      • Once you register in your allotted IISER, this amount will be adjusted against your first semester fee.

    APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION TO B.DES – FASHION DESIGN COURSE ACADEMIC YEAR 2024


             The Institute of Fashion Technology Kerala (IFTK) is established by the Government of Kerala in technical collaboration with the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. IFTK has been set up under the aegis of Centre for Continuing Education Kerala (CCEK), with the intention of developing professionals for taking up leadership positions in fashion business in the emerging global scenario.

    Courses Offered

    • BACHELOR OF DESIGN - (B.Des) - Fashion Design Course Duration : 
    • 4 Years (8 Semesters) 
    • Eligibility: 10 + 2 from a recognized board of Education.

    The application form completed in all respects along with the Demand Draft of Rs.1200/- (Rs.1500/- if the application and prospectus downloaded from website) in favour of Principal, IFTK payable at Kundara should be submitted along with the application form for Admission 2019

    ദേശിയ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ നയം 2020 അടിസ്ഥാനപ്പെടുത്തി അധ്യപപരിശീലന കോഴ്സുകൾ വലിയമാറ്റങ്ങൾക്ക് വിധേയമാകുന്നു , അതുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ 4 വർഷ ഇന്റഗ്രേറ്റഡ് ടീച്ചർ എഡ്യൂക്കേഷൻ പ്രോഗ്രാം പ്രസക്തിയേറുകയാണ്. 42 ദേശിയ പ്രാധാന്യമുള്ള സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിലേക്ക്  അഡ്മിഷൻ നേടുവാൻ ഈ പ്രവേശന പരീക്ഷ ഉപയോഗപ്പെടുത്താം .


    National Common Entrance Test 2024 will be conducted in 13 mediums across India in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for admission to a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) in selected Central / State Universities / Institutions including IITs, NITs, RIEs, and Government Colleges for the Academic Session 2024-25

    • Eligibility: For appearing in the NCET 2024, there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the class 12 /equivalent examination or are appearing in 2024 irrespective of their age can appear in the NCET 2024 examination. However, the candidates will be required to fulfill the age criteria (if any) of the University / Institution / Government College to which they are desirous of taking admission..

    • Announcement of the City of Examination:The last week of May 2024

    • Medium:13 languages (Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu )
    • Syllabus: 
    • Language: Language to be tested through Reading Comprehension, Literary Aptitude, and Vocabulary
    • Domain Subject: As per Class 12 syllabus only.
    • General Test: General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Reasoning, Logical and Analytical Reasoning 
    • Teaching Aptitude: Topics related to the teaching of science, Arts, Mathematics, Performing Arts, Languages, etc.
