IIM Sambalpur — established in 2015, ranked 34th by NIRF 2025, and accredited by AACSB, BGA & EFMD Global — has launched India's first IIM undergraduate programme: the B.S. in Management and Public Policy. This pioneering 4-year degree (aligned with NEP 2020) blends management science with public governance, policy design, law, economics, and sustainability. Designed to create future-ready leaders for government, corporates, NGOs, startups, and global institutions, admission is based on IPMAT 2026 (conducted by IIM Indore) followed by a Personal Interview at IIM Sambalpur.

📝 About IPMAT 2026: The Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) is conducted by IIM Indore annually. Candidates must register separately at iimindore.ac.in for IPMAT 2026. The test typically includes Quantitative Ability (MCQ & SA) and Verbal Ability (MCQ) sections. Only IPMAT 2026 score will be accepted — no alternative exam (SAT, JEE, etc.) is accepted.

Candidates are shortlisted for the PI round based on their IPMAT 2026 score. Shortlisted candidates are invited for a Personal Interview. The Interview Panel assesses candidates on various parameters and assigns a score.

Merit List & Admission Offer
The final merit list is prepared based on IPMAT 2026 score (by IIM Indore) + Personal Interview score. Selected candidates receive a provisional admission offer via email and must pay the Offer Acceptance Fee of ₹1,00,000 (adjusted against Semester 1 fee) to confirm admission.
