• Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate
• *OBC-NCL (Other Backward Classes)-NCL (Non-Creamy Layer) as per the Central List of Other Backward Classes available on the National Commission for Backward Classes.
• The recent photograph should be either in colour or black and white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against a white background
• Scanned photographs, signature, and Left and Right hand Fingers and Thumb impressions should be in JPG format (clearly legible).
• Scanned Category Certificate (if applicable), Citizenship Certificate (if applicable), and PwBD Certificate (wherever applicable) should be in pdf format (clearly legible).
• The size of the scanned passport photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb (clearly legible).
• The size of the scanned Postcard photograph (4”x6”) should be between 10 kb - 200 kb (clearly legible).
• The size of the scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb (clearly legible)

        The Indian Maritime University (IMU) was established on 14th November 2008 as a teaching-cum-affiliating university under the aegis of the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India, with Chennai as headquarters. It was set up to promote maritime studies, training, research and extension with focus on emerging areas like oceanography, maritime history, maritime laws, maritime security, search and rescue, transportation of dangerous cargo, environmental studies and other related fields, and to achieve excellence in these areas. 

IMU will conduct a Common Entrance Test (IMU-CET) on all India basis for admission in   different courses except BBA .

Eligibility

•  4-Year B.Tech (Marine Engineering)
• 10+2/equivalent (PCM-60% and minimum of 50% marks in English subject in 10th or 12th Examination).
•  3-Year B.Sc (Nautical Science)
• 10+2/equivalent (PCM-60%)with minimum of 50% marks in English subject in 10th/12th Examination.
• 4-Year B.Tech (Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering)
• 10+2/equivalent (PCM-60%) with minimum of 50% marks in English subject in 10th / 12th Examination.
•  3-Year B.Sc (Ship Building and Repair)
• 10+2/equivalent (PCM-60%) with minimum of 50% marks in English subject in 10th / 12th Examination.
•  1-Year DNS course leading to B.Sc (Applied Nautical Science)
• i) 10+2/equivalent (PCM-60%)with minimum of 50% marks in English subject in 10th/12th Examination.  OR
• ii) B.Sc. in Physics , Mathematics, Chemistry or Electronics with Physics as individual subject in one of the year, with an average of not less than 55%of the marks in the final year.  OR B.Tech
• 3-Year BBA (Logistics, Retailing & E-Commerce) 
• Any Plus Two (  NO CET for admissions to this programme. )
