     Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics (GIPE), Pune, is one of the oldest research and training institutes in Economics in the country.GIPE is started  undergraduate programme B.Sc. (Economics) since 2019.

UG PROGRAMMES

1. B.Sc.Economics

Eligibility for B.Sc. Economics
 Candidates willing to seek admission to the B. Sc. (Economics) Programme at GIPE must secure at least 60% marks in aggregate (50% marks for SC/ST category candidates. The Institute will follow the relaxation rules as per Government directions) in their 12th Standard board examination or equivalent examination.

Exam Date : June 11, 2023
                    The entrance examination will consist of 100 objective type questions, each question carries one mark, and of 120 minutes duration. There will be “no negative marking” for wrong answers.
The Entrance Examination will comprise the following components: 
(a) Aptitude in Mathematics (40 marks) (b) Analytical Ability and Reasoning (40 marks) (c) English language skill (20 marks)

  • Degreee ,must secure at least 50% marks in the aggregate 
  • 45% for SC/ST reserved category candidates  at graduation level.
