The Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies
(KUFOS) established in 2010 by an Act of Kerala
Legislative Assembly with the main objective of
imparting education in different branches of Fisheries and
Ocean Science. The University offers Under-Graduate
(UG), Post-Graduate (PG), Diploma and Ph.D
programmes. Admission to the Bachelor of Fisheries
Science and B.Tech in Food Technology is done by the
Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala
State through Kerala Engineering, Architecture and
Medical courses (KEAM) entrance examination.
Admission to Post-graduate programme and Ph.D
programmes are through a Common Admission Test
(CAT) conducted by the University. Procedure for
Students admitted through ICAR quota are given
separately.
