PG Diploma in Fusion Imaging Technology:

Tata Memorial Centre, a grant in aid institution of Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, Tata Memorial Hospital, Dr. E Borges Road, Parel, Mumbai-400 012, has invited applications for admission to the One year ‘ Post Graduate Diploma in Fusion Imaging Technology’ (PGDFIT) Programme, for Academic year 2019-20, commencing on 1st July 2019, followed by mandatory one-year Internship at Dept. of Nuclear Medicine, Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai.
Eligibility: Applicant should hold B.Sc with minimum 50% marks in one of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Statistics, Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry or Biotechnology.
What is Fusion Technology
Fusion Imaging is the melting together images from different modalities to create a new (hybrid) image. This course is intended to impart education and training in nuclear medicine and fusion imaging technology and radiation safety. The Course is accredited by Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB), Mumbai. The Diploma is awarded by Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI) a Deemed to be University.

Age Limit: Applicant should be between 20 and 30 years. Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST and by 3 years for OBC applicants.
