DIRECTORATE OF DISTANCE EDUCATION NALSAR UNIVERSITY OF LAW, HYDERABAD
NALSAR University of Law was established by Act No. 34 of 1998 to provide comprehensive legal
education and to promote quality researches in the discipline of law and allied subjects both in regular as
well as distance mode. Ever since its establishment, it has emerged as one of the preferred destinations
for bright students from across India.
Apart from Undergraduate 5-year B.A., LL.B.(Hons.), One Year LL.M. Programme, M.Phil., Ph.D. and
Integrated LL.M., Ph.D. programmes, the University through its Centre for Management Studies also
offers the 2-Year M.B.A. Programme in regular mode. To disseminate knowledge and to provide avenues
for the working professionals, the University through its Directorate of Distance Education (NALSAR
Proximate Education) has been offering Master’s and PG Diploma programmes through Open and
Distance Learning mode on emerging and contemporary areas from almost last two decades.

Eligibility:
2-Year M.A. (Aviation Law and Air Transport Management)
Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent Degree in any discipline from any recognized University; or
3-year Degree/Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME)
Students appearing for the final year examination of Graduation / Engineering are also eligible to
apply. In such a case, the admission will be subject to the submission of the passing certificate of
the qualifying examination on or before September 30, 2019.
2-Year M.A. (Security & Defence Laws)
Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent Degree in any discipline from any recognized University; or
Students appearing for the final year examination of Graduation are also eligible to apply. In such
a case, the admission will be subject to the submission of the passing certificate of the qualifying
examination on or before September 30, 2019.
One-Year Post Graduate Diploma in Patents Law / Cyber Laws / Media Laws / International
Humanitarian Law / Animal Protection / Alternative Dispute Resolution/ Family Dispute
Resolution/ Advanced Maritime Laws/ Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Criminal Law and
Forensic Science
Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent Degree in any discipline from any recognized University; or
Candidates who complete three years of their 5-year integrated LLB Degree programme in Law
are also eligible to apply; or
Candidates appearing for the final year examination of Graduation/ Engineering are also eligible
to apply. In such a case, the admission will be subject to the submission of the passing certificate
of the qualifying examination on or before September 30, 2019.

Full Members of ICSI/ICAI/ICMAI (Or) those who complete IPCC of ICAI, Executive Level of
ICSI and Intermediate of ICMAI; or
Full members of Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) or who complete stage 2 of IAI.
