Max 2 attempts in Phase 1 OR 1 attempt in Phase 2. Total marks: 200. Part A (Drawing, Offline, 90 min, 80 marks) + Part B (Online Adaptive CBT, 90 min, 120 marks). Percentile-based scoring system. NATA 2025 score is ALSO valid for 2026–27 admissions (with conditions). No minimum raw score for qualifying.

Rolling Registration Every WeekUnlike other exams, NATA 2026 has a rolling registration system. Candidates can register for any upcoming exam date (Friday or Saturday) throughout Phase 1 (April–June 2026). The registration cutoff is the Monday before a Friday exam and Tuesday before a Saturday exam. Candidates can attempt up to 2 tests in Phase 1.

What is the Adaptive Test (Part B)?Part B is a computer adaptive test — the difficulty of questions adjusts based on your performance in real time. No negative marking is specified in the brochure for the test. Each question is allotted 108 seconds average time within the 90-minute window.

(First Year) — CoA Regulations 2020As per Regulation 4(1) of CoA (Minimum Standards of Architectural Education) Regulations 2020, the eligibility for admission to 1st year of the 5-year B.Arch. degree course is: Passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of — Chemistry OR Biology OR Technical Vocational Subject OR Computer Science OR IT OR Informatics Practices OR Engineering Graphics OR Business Studies — with at least 45% marks in aggregate, OR passed 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 45% marks in aggregate.

If found ineligible at any stage, candidature will be cancelled even after appearing in NATA. Qualifying NATA does not guarantee admission to any B.Arch. programme.

Fill Personal Details
Enter all personal information (name exactly as in Class X records), father's name, mother's name, date of birth, gender, category, disability status, nationality. Enter education details for Class X and Class XII/Diploma. All fields marked MUST are mandatory.

Upload Photograph & Signature
Upload a recent passport-size colour photo (both ears visible, front view, JPG/JPEG, 4–100 KB, 4.5 cm × 3.5 cm) and signature (JPG/JPEG, 1–30 KB, 1.5 cm × 3.5 cm). Poor quality uploads will result in rejection.

Choose your preferred city/region and test date. Cities are allocated as far as possible on preference basis — final allocation at CoA's discretion. International centres cannot be chosen as 2nd or 3rd preference. Select the specific test slot (Morning or Afternoon) for your chosen Saturday date.

Pay Application Fee & Generate Confirmation
Pay via Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking. After successful payment, the Confirmation Page is generated — take a printout and preserve it. This confirms registration but is NOT the admit card.

Download Appointment Card (Admit Card)
The Appointment Card (admit card) will be available for download from the NATA login:
- For Friday exam: Available from the Tuesday of that week
- For Saturday exam: Available from the Wednesday of that week

Report to exam centre:
- Session 1 (Morning): Report by 9:00 AM. Gate opens 9:15 AM. Exam starts 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
