Azim Premji Foundation, the sponsoring body set up the University as a
fully philanthropic and a not-for-profit entity, with a clear social purpose. They offer undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing education
programmes that aim to prepare students with great competence,
integrity and socialcommitment. Their research programmes also further
the development of knowledge and education in the same fields.
Azim Premji University invites applications to its Undergraduate
Programme - 3-year B.Sc. degree (Physics, Biology or Mathematics) and
B.A. degree (Economics or Humanities) and 4-year B.Sc. B.Ed. dual-degree
(Physical Sciences, Life Sciences or Mathematics). The programme is
conceived as an educational experience that prepares reflective citizens,
capable of meaningful engagement in work and in society. This is full-time,
residential programme based in Bengaluru.

- B.Sc. degree: Physics OR Biology OR Mathematics
- B.A. degree: Economics OR Humanities
- Students also go through a Common Curriculum which provides them the opportunity to study interdisciplinary areas like Development, Sustainability, Education, and Media.
- Option to do Research work for Honours Degree.

ELIGIBILITY
- Class 12 / Pre University certificate from any recognized Indian Board or any valid international certificate equivalent to the Class 12.Score of 50%.
FINANCIAL AID
- Azim Premji University has an explicit commitment towards supporting students from disadvantaged backgrounds. We provide financial assistance for deserving students to pursue their education with us. We offer need based scholarships (both full and partial) and facilitate education loans for students.
ADMISSIONS
- Applicants will go through an entrance test to assess their English language and quantitative capacities and written component to assess writing and analytical skills. Shortlisted applicants will be called for personal interview. The Application form is available on the University website. Benefit through our Early Admissions window conducted in December every year. SAT and other test scores will also be accepted.
